Microbiome Labs was originally established as Physicians Exclusive in 2013 focused on providing probiotic bacteriotherapy. In the past several years their business model has grown and so has public awareness for gut health issues. 

The origin story of Microbiome Labs is a classic tale of forging new frontiers, complete with discovery, adversity and a leap of faith. Through persistent curiosity, clinician Dr Tom Bayne and Microbiologist Kiran Krishnan stumbled upon the potential of the next big probiotic in the industry: Bacillus spores. With their combined expertise, the serendipitous pair formulated the first all-spore probiotic known as MegaSporeBiotic.
